Personal Landscape

Our assignment was to create a personal landscape utilizing any images that we could find. I used all scanned images, including grass, sticks, leaves, and pictures from magazines. I then edited the document in Photoshop. My intention was to combine my love for the city with my love for nature.

AIG Relocates

The assignment was to take a story in the news and alter it a bit. I think the image speaks for itself.

Journeying Home

I created this stop animation film of my brother journeying home. I was going for a more epic approach. I created the video portion in Photoshop and then added audio in GarageBand.

Seamless Pattern Tutorial

The tutorial taught me how to create a seamless pattern. I have always been annoyed when making patterns because you can always see the lines where the pattern ends. The starbursts however are just the product of fooling around with different tools.

Aurora Borealis Tutorial

This tutorial was to make an aurora borealis using the meshing tool, blending tool and several others.

Our assignment in class was to find an artist that we liked and create an image in Illustrator using their style. I chose the pop artist Peter Max and used his piece called "Liberty Head" as a reference for my piece. Using a lot of variations of the paint brush tool, I made this piece entitled "Father Tcheou."
